According to Squared Circle Sirens, WWE has released NXT talent and Mae Young Classic competitor Zeda.
Zeda was signed to WWE back in January of last year and competed in a few televised NXT matches before and after her participation in the Mae Young Classic. Zeda was eliminated by current NXT Champion Shayna Baszler in the first round of the Classic.
Zeda’s real name is Julia Ho, and in addition to being a pro wrestler, she is an undefeated MMA fighter, holding a 2-0 record. Ho has a martial arts background that includes boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing, grappling, and Judo. Back in January 2017, it was announced that Ho, along with independent standouts Heidi Lovelace, Kimber Lee, and Andréa, had all signed WWE Performance Center deals.
Ho made her NXT debut on May 13th, 2017 in a battle royal to determine a Number One Contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.
