WWE did issue the following statement to PWInsider.com, however, confirming that as of now, no contract between WWE and Hogan has been signed:
“We have had discussions with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) about how he can help others learn from his mistakes, however, he is not under any contract with WWE.”
Hogan has not appeared for WWE since July of 2015, when he was fired from the company after audio footage was released featuring Hogan making racially insensitive remarks. WWE subsequently began scrubbing him from the company’s ‘history books’, and removed his profile page from the WWE Hall of Famer along with any mentions of The Hulkster.
