This week’s WWE Raw saw the major announcement just hours before the show that Ronda Rousey would be appearing on every Raw leading up to WrestleMania 34. The show also featured Rousey kicking things off in what lead to the announcement that she will be teaming up with Kurt Angle to face Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 34.
After a somewhat surprisingly low viewership number for Rousey’s debut last week, her follow-up this week was not much better as the show averaged 3.099 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.180 viewership average.
The show also featured an in-ring promo segment with Paul Heyman and later Roman Reigns, and below is the hourly breakdown for this week’s WWE Raw viewership:
-The first hour averaged 3.302 million viewers
-The second hour averaged 3.267 million viewers
-The final hour averaged 2.729 million viewers
This week also saw the three-week WWE Raw viewership streak come to an end, as the show did not rank #1 overall on cable TV for the night. Raw this week ranked #2 behind Rachel Maddow.
