This Week’s WWE Smackdown Viewership Lowest in Months

This week’s WWE Smackdown featured the return of Dolph Ziggler and a big change made to the WWE Fastlane main event. The show was previously advertised to feature Ziggler vs Baron Corbin with the winner advancing to the main event of WWE Fastlane, however those match plans were changed once the show started, and the final main event of Fastlane will now feature a Fatal Five Way WWE Title match.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Smackdown viewership came in at an average of 2.449 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.505 million viewership average. This week’s viewership number is the lowest WWE Smackdown has drawn since October of 2017.

This week’s WWE Smackdown ranked #5 in overall cable TV viewership, and also featured a previously advertised bout of Charlotte Flair vs Sarah Logan in a non-title match. Additionally, WWE Smackdown Viewership has seen a consistent weekly decrease so far since the start of the new year.
