This week on WWE NXT, fan favorite, Roderick Strong managed to defeat the first ever WWE UK Champion, Tyler Bate to become the new number one contender to the WWE UK title.
Strong will now face Pete Dunne for the championship and is also taking part in the WWE 205 Live Cruiserweight Championship tournament, where he will face former NXT star, Hideo Itami in first round action next week.
Strong reacted to becoming the new number one contender on Twitter, telling his followers that it doesn’t matter what championship it is, he is coming for them all.
United Kingdom, Cruiserweight, United States, Intercontinental, Universal or Heavyweight Championship it doesn’t matter. I’m coming for them all… #RoddyVsTheWorld #Messiahofthebackbreaker

Tyler Bate Reflects On Defeats
Whilst it was a good week for Strong, it wasn’t so positive for Tyler Bate. The UK competitor was defeated in the number one contender’s match and was also eliminated from the WWE 205 Live Cruiserweight Championship tournament by TJP.
Bate reflected on those losses on Twitter and said that he thinks he needs to fix up. This tweet was then responded to by his tag team partner, Trent Seven, who said he has got him, perhaps teasing a Moustache Mountain run in WWE.
@WWE205Live last night, lost. @WWENXT tonight, another loss. Thinking I need to fix up a bit.
