Saturday’s game was a letdown for the Blues and propelled the Bruins to a 2-1 series lead. But there is little time to dwell on the visitors’ domination as the two teams square off for Game 4 Monday in what could be a pivotal match-up. Win the game, and the Blues even the series and inject new life into their first Final appearance in nearly 50 years. Lose, and they’ll face a 3-1 hole heading back to Boston.
Fortunately for the Blues, they’ll have a pair of players returning after missing the weekend clash. Oskar Sundqvist has served his one-game suspension and is expected back in the St. Louis lineup, while Vince Dunn could return after missing several games following a facial injury sustained in Game 3 of the Western Confernce Final.
Will the reinforcements be enough to get the Blues back on track? We’ll find out in Game 4.
