Delhi HC Confirms Trial Court Conviction Of 88 People In 1984 Anti Sikh Riots

The Delhi High Court upheld the conviction of 88 people by the trial court in 1985 anti-Sikh riots in east Delhi’s Trilokpuri area, ANI reported.

The court dismissed the petition of these 88 people and asked them to surrender within four weeks. The convicts have been sentenced to five years in jail. The HC upheld their conviction for burning houses and for curfew violation during the 1984 riots.
