WWE Monday Night Raw last night drew a 1.74 ratio, down from last week’s 1.78 rating. It’s 0.004 below the yearly average so far in 2019. It’s below the 2.13 rating from one year ago and 2.16 rating from two years ago. The ten-week rolling average, which includes Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve holiday episodes, is 1.66.
The first hour drew 2.689 million viewers, the second hour drew 2.445 million, and the third hour drew 2.252 million. The first-to-third hour drop-off was 437,000, higher the previous two weeks (335,000 and 241,000) for a show built around whether Becky Lynch would apologize to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Although Raw is usually a rating leader on Monday nights compared to other Monday programming, with the exception of NFL and big college football games, its viewership is well below Sunday’s leader, “The Walking Dead,”n which returned from its mid-season break with 5.156 million viewers, roughly doubling Raw’s average viewership. Saturday’s Duke vs. Virginia college basketball game drew 3.318 million viewers to top that night’s cable ratings. UFC PPV Prelims on ESPN on Saturday night drew 1.339 million viewers.
