Totino-Grace’s Lance Benick wrestled his way to the No. 1 spot in the nation and remained there throughout his entire junior year. But in the junior championships this past summer in Fargo, N.D., Benick, along with his No. 1 ranking, were dropped to the mat by the hands of Apple Valley’s Bobby Steveson.

Steveson exited Fargo freshly crowned as the new No. 1, Benick just exited Fargo.
