Daniel Cormier Talks About How Big A Fight Against Brock Lesnar Really Is

As noted, UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier recently appeared as a guest on the Steve Austin Show podcast with WWE Hall Of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

During the show, D.C. spoke at length about his expected showdown against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

While talking about the subject, Cormier explained to “The Texas Rattlesnake” just how big, particularly financially, a fight against “The Beast Incarnate” is.

“When there’s a fight like Lesnar on the horizon, you don’t turn your back,” said Cormier. “It’s the biggest fight in the sport outside of fighting Conor and he fights at 155 pounds. I’m gonna fight Brock.”

Cormier also addressed former UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic during the appearance, stating that he feels Miocic deserves a rematch.

According to Cormier, had Miocic won, he would’ve been looking towards a Lesnar fight as well.

“You can’t think for a second that if he would have won, he wouldn’t have wanted or taken that Lesnar fight,” said Cormier.
