Smackdown Live Viewership Down for Sixth Consecutive Week

— Yesterday’s Smackdown Live was watched by an average of 2.449 million people, down from last week’s 2.505 million. In fact, it is the sixth straight week in which the show has lost viewers and the 2.449 is the least watched show since Halloween and lower than last year’s show which was watched by 2.626 million people.

— There was tough competition to blame as the Olympics on primetime on NBC was at 20.5 million and an NBA game was watched by 2.752 million. On the night, Smackdown was #4 among shows on cable, yet was #2 in the 18-49 demographic, both of which are strong showings reflective of last night’s stiff competition.
