— Last night’s Florida Championship Wrestling television taping in Tampa apparently featured a “worked shoot” angle based on some recent wrestling news site reports.
Following DH Smith’s loss to FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion Eric Escobar, new ECW wrestler Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson) ran down to the ring and laid out Smith. The two then got into a brawl that was eventually separated by FCW talent.
During the brawl, Kidd grabbed the mic and said even though Smith went to “WWE creative” to get on television before him, he (Kidd) made it to television before him.
As we’ve been reporting, WWE had plans to bring The New Hart Foundation up to the main roster, but plans changed when Smith went to the creative team and pitched a role for himself on the Raw roster as a member of Legacy. As a result, the team was disbanded. There was heat on Smith from other wrestlers as they felt he damaged Wilson and Natalya’s chances of making it to the main roster in a pronounced role, but luckily for them, they were brought to ECW this past Tuesday.
