    Brown: Sponsors ‘wouldn’t mind’ noisy engines in ‘sustainable’ F1

    McLaren boss Zak Brown doe does not believe that a return to noisy engines in Formula 1 would chase away sponsors from the sport as argued by Mercedes, as long as it follows a path towards sustainability.     Women are better marathon pacers than men – study

    An analysis of nearly 2m results from 131 marathons staged around the world found that women are better pacers than men when it comes to marathon running.     Poll: 55% of Brits in favour of cash for cycling

    According to a YouGov poll of over 2,000 British adults, more than half of respondents think the UK government should be investing in cycling. Advertisement Nearly a third (31%) of respondents said they were more likely to get around by bike if more cycle lanes were separated from traffic on busy roads. Over a third (33%) said the dangers to cyclists discourage them from hopping on their bikes more.     Rebecca Preston joins Brett Sutton’s tri squad

    Triathlon coach Brett Sutton has announced that Australian athlete Rebecca Preston is joining his superstar squad after a long hiatus, in a bid to wrap up her tri career on a high.
